“I was drinking for the past 20 years. At the end it got out of hand. My mother was dying of cancer. That seemed to give me reason to really go for it. I was in a checkout lane in a grocery store, for some reason I picked up Elle magazine. I open it to the article about Rhonda Lenair. Mind you, I bought my wine and magazine. I called Barry and just my luck they had an opening. Well, I credit Rhonda with saving my life. I flew out to see her. And those days were painful, and I had to make up my mind that I wanted this disease behind me. For the past 20 years I could only think when my next drink would be. I was consumed.
